It's that wonderful time of year again. Let's get the ball rolling!

Writing Related.
You've got a story in you. Let's get it out into the world.

750 Words & One Page Per Day. Stuck in a rut? These sites pose an interesting challenge. Write at least one page daily. You can use it to write a short story or use it as a journal. Either way, it gets you writing.

Language Is A Virus. Stuffed with tips, tricks, and writing prompts.

Plinky. Plinky's goal is to help you write better status updates. It gives you cool writing prompts to help get you thinking. You can share your answers as well.

Do It Yourself.
Get crafty with these great sites.

Halloween Crafts Halloween themed DIY's. Great for this season, and all other seasons.

True Blue Me & You. This person also makes Halloween Crafts. This site is for more general DIY's but it's mostly fashion related.

Epbot. I adore Epbot. It's full of geeky DIY's and really clever ideas.

Honestly WTF. It's a fashion/inspiration/diy blog. The DIY's are brilliant.

Time Wasters.
Let's be honest: you'll probably use these more than anything else in this list.

I Waste So Much Time. It has a host of funny pics and videos, making it one of the most addicting time wasters out there.

Mark Watches and Mark Reads. Mark Oshiro of Sonic Youth likes to explore new things. He takes user suggestions and reads/watches them, then blogs about his experience with it. Both hilarious and often insightful, I highly recommend his sites. Be warned though, sooner than later you'll find yourself reading and watching along with him!

Midomi. Got a song stuck in your head, but you have no idea who sings it, and you aren't sure of the lyrics? Meet your new best friend. Midomi allows you to hum your tune, and it can identify the song and give you information on it.

Fictional Food. Ever read about food in a book and wish that it were real? While this blogger is making your wish come true. She gives ingredients & instructions, as well as a description of what the food is like in the book.

What The F- Should I Make For Dinner? Visit, and it tells you what you should make.  It provides recipes and drink options.

Flash By Night. It's full of challenging flash games. My favs are Drench and Retris.

This blog will be updated throughout the month, so stay tuned!
